This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, used, processed, stored, and shared when you use the MealAgain mobile application and related services.MealAgain is designed to help you recreate meals you enjoyed by analyzing information such as meal photos, dish descriptions, restaurant information, menu photos, and other details you choose to provide.By using MealAgain, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.## 1. Information You ProvideMealAgain may process information that you voluntarily provide when using the application.### Photos and ImagesYou may choose to provide photos, including:- photos of meals or dishes;
- photos of menus;
- photos of ingredients or other information related to a meal.These images may be transmitted to our servers and third-party artificial intelligence service providers when necessary to analyze the meal and generate a recipe.MealAgain does not automatically access your entire photo library. You choose which photos are provided to the application through the photo selection features made available by your device.### Meal InformationYou may provide information such as:- the name of a dish;
- the name of a restaurant or location;
- descriptions of a meal;
- ingredients you believe were used;
- comments or additional information.This information may be processed together with your photos to identify and recreate the meal.## 2. Artificial Intelligence ProcessingMealAgain uses artificial intelligence services to analyze information you provide and generate recipes.Information submitted for recipe reconstruction may be transmitted to our backend infrastructure, called AppCore, and subsequently processed by third-party artificial intelligence providers, including OpenAI.The information sent for processing may include:- meal photos;
- menu photos;
- dish names;
- restaurant names;
- meal descriptions;
- comments;
- other information you voluntarily submit as part of a meal recreation request.AppCore does not permanently store the meal photos, descriptions, menu images, or other meal content submitted for artificial intelligence processing. This content is processed only as necessary to complete the requested operation.Third-party artificial intelligence providers may process information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and data retention practices.These services are used only as necessary to provide MealAgain's functionality, generate meal recreations, maintain the service, and protect it from abuse.## 3. Web SearchMealAgain may use Internet search services when additional information could improve the reconstruction of a meal.For example, MealAgain may search for publicly available information concerning:- a restaurant;
- a particular dish;
- a restaurant menu;
- publicly described ingredients;
- similar dishes;
- preparation techniques.Information you provide, such as a restaurant or dish name, may therefore be used to formulate Internet searches.MealAgain uses search results as sources and clues for reconstructing recipes. We do not control the privacy practices, accuracy, availability, or content of third-party websites returned by search services.## 4. User IdentifierMealAgain may generate and use a unique identifier associated with your use of the application.This identifier may be stored by our backend services and used to:- associate recreation credits with you;
- determine your remaining recreation allowance;
- recognize purchases or access rights;
- prevent duplicate processing;
- troubleshoot technical problems;
- prevent fraud or abuse.This identifier is not intended to directly identify you by name.## 5. PurchasesMealAgain may offer in-app purchases through Apple's App Store.Purchases are processed by Apple. MealAgain does not receive or store your complete payment card, banking, or other payment account information.We may receive and process information related to a purchase, such as:- product identifiers;
- transaction identifiers;
- purchase status;
- signed transaction information provided by Apple;
- refund information;
- revocation information.This information may be sent to and stored by our backend services to validate purchases and determine the number of meal recreations or other features available to you.Apple's handling of your information is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and terms.## 6. Locally Stored and iCloud-Synchronized InformationMealAgain stores recreated recipes and related information so that you can access them later.Stored information may include:- generated recipes;
- ingredients;
- preparation instructions;
- information about the original meal;
- associated photos;
- other information required to display your recreated meals.MealAgain uses Apple's CloudKit and iCloud services to synchronize this information across your compatible Apple devices when iCloud is available and enabled.This synchronized information may include recreated recipes, related metadata, and photos associated with your meals.Information stored or synchronized through iCloud and CloudKit is processed by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policies, security measures, and your Apple account settings.## 7. Technical and Usage InformationWe may collect limited technical information necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve MealAgain.This may include information such as:- application version;
- operating system version;
- request status;
- technical errors;
- service performance information;
- anonymous or pseudonymous usage events;
- identifiers necessary to associate requests with the application or service.We may use this information to diagnose problems, understand how MealAgain is being used, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.MealAgain does not use your meal information to create advertising profiles.## 8. - save and display recreated recipes;
- synchronize saved information through iCloud;

- operate and maintain the application and backend services;
- diagnose technical problems;
- prevent fraud, misuse, or abuse;
- comply with applicable legal obligations.We do not sell your personal information.## 9. Third-Party ServicesMealAgain relies on third-party services to provide some functionality.These may include:- Apple, for application distribution, in-app purchases, iCloud, CloudKit, and related device services;
- OpenAI, for artificial intelligence processing;
- cloud infrastructure providers used to operate MealAgain's backend services;
- Internet search providers when Web search is required to reconstruct a meal.When MealAgain sends information to AppCore for artificial intelligence processing, AppCore acts as a processing intermediary. Meal information, images, descriptions, and other content submitted for recipe reconstruction are transmitted to the relevant artificial intelligence services as necessary to perform the requested operation.AppCore does not permanently store the meal content, photos, descriptions, or other data submitted for artificial intelligence processing.Technical records that are necessary to operate the service, validate purchases, prevent abuse, or diagnose failures may be stored separately and are not intended to contain the full meal content submitted for artificial intelligence processing.Third-party providers may process information according to their respective privacy policies, terms, and contractual obligations.We seek to transmit only information reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality.## 10. Data RetentionMealAgain does not permanently retain on AppCore the meal photos, meal descriptions, menu photos, or other meal content submitted for artificial intelligence processing.This information is processed only as necessary to complete the requested meal recreation and is not stored by AppCore after processing is completed.Recreated recipes, associated photos, and related information that you choose to save are stored through the application and may be synchronized using Apple's CloudKit and iCloud services.This information may remain available through your Apple account until you delete it, subject to Apple's synchronization, backup, and retention behavior.Certain server-side records may be retained when reasonably necessary to operate and protect the service. These records may include:- MealAgain user identifiers;
- recreation credit balances;
- recreation usage records;
- purchase and transaction information;
- refund or entitlement information;
- security and anti-abuse records;
- limited technical logs.These records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, validate purchases and entitlements, prevent abuse, diagnose technical issues, or comply with applicable legal obligations.## 11. Data SecurityWe use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through MealAgain.However, no Internet transmission, electronic storage system, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.You should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive, personal, or confidential information through meal descriptions, photographs, comments, or other free-form fields.## 12. Your Choices and RightsDepending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information.You may also:- choose not to provide optional photos or descriptions;
- delete recipes and related information within the application where such functionality is available;
- manage photo and other application permissions through your device settings;
- manage iCloud settings through your Apple account and device settings.For requests concerning information stored directly by MealAgain or AppCore, you may contact us using the information provided below.We may need sufficient information, such as your MealAgain user identifier, to locate the relevant server-side records and process your request.## 13. Children's PrivacyMealAgain is not specifically directed to children under the age required to independently consent to the processing of personal information in their jurisdiction.We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us improperly, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.## 14. International Data ProcessingMealAgain and the third-party services it relies upon may process information in countries other than the country in which you live.As a result, information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.Where required by applicable law, appropriate measures are used to protect information transferred internationally.## 15.
